Experience 05

Tables delivered, built and collected.

For event agencies, venues and organisers who already have a programme and need the equipment — with our hosts on the floor, or without them.

Who it suits

For organisers who only need the hardware.

Plenty of events already have a producer, a floor plan and a crew. What they need is four properly built tables that arrive on time, level up on an uneven floor and look like they belong in the room.

Mobile hire is that service. We deliver, install, test the lighting, hand over a written set of house rules, and come back for collection at an agreed hour. You can add trained hosts to any hire, and most clients do for at least half their tables.

  • Event agencies sub-contracting entertainment for a client build.
  • Venues with their own in-house events team.
  • Conference organisers adding an evening element to a day programme.
  • Clubs, societies and charitable fundraisers running their own floor.
  • Multi-day programmes where tables stay in place between sessions.
Included as standard

What a hire includes

  • Delivery, installation, levelling and lighting test.
  • Symbolic chips, racks, shoes and cards for each table.
  • Covers and padded transport crates; nothing arrives bare.
  • A written house-rules sheet for your own staff to run from.
  • Collection at an agreed hour, including the following morning.
  • Optional trained hosts and a floor manager, priced per table.

Quoted individually. The price depends on the size of the event, the venue, travel and the format you choose — we prepare a tailored proposal rather than a rate card.

How it runs

From enquiry to collection.

Enquiry

Equipment list

We confirm which tables, how many, and whether you want hosts. You get a written list and a price, including travel and freight for your region.

Two days out

Site confirmation

We confirm access, door widths, lift dimensions, floor type and power with your venue directly. This is the step that prevents an unpleasant surprise on the day.

Delivery

Install and level

Tables are built and levelled, felt dressed, lighting aimed and tested. We leave the room looking finished, not half-built.

Handover

House rules

If you are running the floor yourself, we walk your staff through the house rules: chips are issued not sold, nothing is exchangeable, no money on the felt, 20+ only.

During

Hosted or self-run

With hosts, we run the tables and the floor. Without, your team does, and we remain reachable by phone for the duration.

Collection

De-rig

Equipment cased, chips reconciled, venue checked. Overnight and next-morning collections are normal for late finishes.

Why this format is safe to book

Hiring the tables does not change the rules.

Chips supplied with a hire are symbolic. They carry no monetary value, are not sold, cannot be topped up and cannot be exchanged for money, credit or goods. Our terms require that they are used that way at your event too, and the house-rules sheet we hand over says so in plain language.

We will not supply equipment for an event where guests are to stake money, where chips are to be sold or redeemed, or where under-20s will be on the event floor. If that is what an event needs, we are the wrong supplier and we will say so at the enquiry stage.

We do not supply slot machines, electronic gaming machines or screen-based gaming of any kind.

Entertainment only. This is an offline, adults-only event entertainment service. There is no real-money gambling, no betting, no cash prizes and no online casino service. Chips are symbolic, have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for money, credit or goods. Guests must be 20 or over.

Questions

Three questions about hire.

Yes. You take responsibility for running the tables and applying the house rules, including the 20+ restriction and the symbolic-chip rules in our terms. Most clients hire hosts for at least half their tables, because an unhosted table tends to empty out.

Yes, with a travel and freight allowance built into the proposal. Southland, Otago and Canterbury are routine; the rest of the country is quoted on the specific dates and volume. See coverage.

Tell us early and it is almost always solvable — our tables break down for transport. What causes problems is finding out on the day, so we confirm doors, lifts and floor type with your venue two days before delivery.

Next step

Send us the dates and the table count.

You will get an equipment list, a delivery and collection window, a travel allowance for your region and a written price.
